Professor of General Surgery

I graduated from Ankara Fen Lisesi in 1981. I finished Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 as 4th and started my specialty training in the Department of General Surgery in the same year. In 1992, I was appointed to Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital as a General Surgery Specialist. In 2000, I was qualified for the title of Associate Professor. In 1996, I worked in University of Birmingham, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Liver and Hepatobiliary Unit, England for 6 months. Between the years of 2009-2010, I worked as a professor in the hospital of University of Wisconsin, USA for 18 months. I proceeded my academic career as a professor in Hitit University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. In 2014, I became the Dean of the faculty and carried on this duty until being retired in May 2019
